DATEN WINE CIRCLE

Daten Wine Circle has its origins in the Winemakers Section of the Daten Sports and Social Club (now the Culcheth Sports Club). The Winemakers Section was formed in March 1979 by Club members who both enjoyed, and were interested, in making their own high quality wines. Wine appreciation has become the primary focus of our activities in recent years and we are now known as the Daten Wine Circle. Meetings are held in the Ariel lounge at the Club on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8pm.

MEMBERSHIP & MEETING FEES
There is a fee for each meeting to defray the actual costs incurred by the Wine Circle. This meeting fee is calculated by dividing the total cost of the meeting by the number of members who attend. There is also a nominal annual section fee and club levy.
New Members, who must be Members of Culcheth Sports Club, are always made very welcome. But our current accommodation in the Ariel Lounge is not elastic, and therefore our members have agreed to place an upper limit of 55 on the Wine Circle membership.
